FINALLY – my skinny book pages for this week. This style of drawing is known as Zentangle. It could be otherwise just known as ‘phone doodling’ ‘cos that’s the type of drawing I do on scraps of paper (or occasionally on the gridded pattern on my desk) while I am on the phone.
There is a whole web site about creating them & they say that a ‘Zentangle is an easy to learn and relaxing method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing. It increases focus and creativity.'(sometimes you need that when you are on the phone!….LOL!!!) I have created these pages using a Faber Castel ‘Pitt’ Indian Ink pen. (my fav. marker) & then swooshed over them with a light acrylic glaze made from Golden medium & pure Langridge pigment.
